SA Operations previously known as Bulk Sales, was one of the divisions of the company founded in 1985 that eventually led to BSi Steel. The SA Operations  supplies larger tonnages to key customers in various industries.

BSi Steel SA Operations is headed up by William Battershill (Chairman), who handles strategy & finance. The EXCO running operations comprise Peter Smith (Managing Director) , Vusi Hlongwane ( Executive Director ) and Colleen Commons (Supply Chain Executive ). The senior team is underpinned by a strong senior management team & well trained support staff who are focussed on delivering the best possible service to our customers.

The stockholding at our Kliprivier warehouse facility is substantial which allows us to offer our clients rapid turnaround times. For our premium clients we offer a strategic stockholding that will always be available along with other general grades. We provide a “just-in-time” service that should reduce client stockholding costs.
